When you are suffering from an unexpected injury,or when you simply require maintenance attention  we are the provider you need. 

Initial New patient Appointment:

 approximately 45 min-1 hr

This appointment if for patients who have never seen us before or if it's been a year or more since your last visit. 

This appointment covers a thorough examination that involves a detailed health history, vitals, orthopedic testing, and some neurological testing.  If you have any recent imaging, xrays/MRI/CT scans, those will be reviewed.  A discussion on how chiropractic can help you and the game plan we have will be discussed at this visit.

Physiotherapy

Adjustment visit:

 between 15-30 min per person depending on what is needed.

This appointment includes a brief follow up assessment,  adjustment to any area needing an adjustment (including extremities), therapies such as soft tissue work, stretches/exercises, flexion, and traction which will be done based on daily assessment.  

 

Re-evaluation:

between 30-45 minutes

This appointment is for progress assessment or if you have not been for a visit in 6-12 months.

 

This appointment covers updated examination with orthopedic and neurological testing.  This appointment helps to determine any alterations in care plan and assess progress with adjustments.

Cold Laser Therapy

10-20 minutes depending on region

 

 Photobiomodulation therapy is defined as the utilization of non-ionizing electromagnetic energy to trigger
photochemical changes within cellular structures that are receptive to photons. Mitochondria is particularly
receptive to this process. At the cellular level, visible red and near infrared light (NIR) energy are absorbed by
mitochondria which perform the function of producing cellular energy called ATP. It is great 
for wound healing, physical therapy, nerve

regeneration, decreasing inflammation and pain management.

Massage Therapy 

At this time we are not scheduling massage appointments.  We will let you know if anything changes.  Sorry for any inconvenience.   

Massage

Currently we are not taking any insurances.  At Scherm Family Chiropractic we strive to do all you need for the best care possible.  We found insurance to be limiting the care that we could provide.  Treatment can be catered to what you, the client, need not what the insurance company thinks you need.

 Upon request a super bill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. 

Sorry for any inconvenience! 

Currently we are not in network with Medicare.  If you have Medicare or are transitioning on to Medicare we can not treat you for Chiropractic care, even under self pay.  We are sorry for the inconvenience
